OKRA Jewelry
Bringing Calm to a Creative Business Running at Full Speed
OKRA is an independent sacred jewelry and lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by Julie Pang β an artist and designer based in Shanghai, China. Each piece is handcrafted using the ancient lost wax casting technique, drawing on Julie's childhood memories from the island of Mauritius.
OKRA sells internationally while navigating China's distinct digital landscape β running marketing across Instagram, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), and WeChat simultaneously. Julie is a creator at heart β designing, running a studio, leading a small team, and managing marketing and sales all at once.
"It was so messy that I would just spend time trying to organise my thoughts β and it was affecting my productivity." β Julie Pang
Her Notion setup had become a reflection of that chaos. Projects, tasks, marketing content, and sales information were scattered with no clear structure. The marketing challenge was especially acute β operating across both international and Chinese platforms meant every content decision had to work in parallel for two entirely different audiences. There was no system, just mental juggling across three apps.
I rebuilt Julie's Notion workspace around how she actually runs her business β four components, all connected:
Within the first week, Julie's team was already operating from the same system β no crossed wires, no platform confusion, no lost time. The multi-platform content system turned what was once her most stressful workflow into her most organised one.
She has since recommended the service to others.
Julie shared her experience on video β watch it below.
A look inside the finished workspace β home dashboard and the multi-platform social media system.
